Our History

Adam and Kayleigh first met in 2010 while working for a corporate company. It didn’t take long for their strengths to shine. Adam discovered a passion for the creativity and challenge of the kitchen, while Kayleigh thrived on the buzz of running a business and delivering great service.

By 2015, they were working side by side managing a busy seaside business, already knowing that one day they wanted something of their own. That dream became a reality in 2022 when they purchased The Pepper Pot in their hometown of New Quay, though not without its challenges along the way.

Seasonal & Fresh Produce

From the very beginning, Adam’s vision was clear: to showcase the very best of Welsh, local, seasonal, and fresh produce. With fresh fish sourced from Cardigan Bay, only a stone’s throw away, The Pepper Pot proudly serves exceptional local ingredients, including fresh lobster, crab, and Welsh lamb.

Kayleigh has always led the service side of the business, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where guests can relax, feel at home, and truly enjoy the quality of the food and experience. Together, they’ve shaped The Pepper Pot into a cosy, rustic space that locals and visitors alike love returning to.

Now, three years on, Adam and Kayleigh are incredibly proud of how far they’ve come. With growing experience, a loyal customer base, and a fantastic team behind them, The Pepper Pot continues to go from strength to strength.

They’re excited for what the future holds and grateful to everyone who has been part of the journey so far.
